That's the only bad thing, you cant use the heated humidifier with the inverter or the DC power cord. The inverter puts out a modified sine wave, and the heated humidifier needs a pure sine wave.

A inverter that puts out a pure sine wave cost anywhere from $250.00 and more.

So I use the humidifier as a passover when I use the inverter.
