Occasionally not using CPAP

I have been diagnosed as having moderately severe sleep apnea, but have been very much helped by a CPAP device; I try to always use it. What could be the health implications if my personal circumstances prevent me from using my device at least once a week, and occasionally up to three nights in a row?
