Yes, I have noticed a very strong initial smell in each of the 6 Profile Lites that I've acquired. My solution has been to fill a bowl which will hold the mask with a solution of 3 parts water and 1 part white vinegar. Leave the mask soaking all day. RINSE!RINSE!RINSE! just before bed, Dry it out and try it. The smell has always disappeared for me. Good luck!
