Really good advice, Clockman, but I'd add one more thought: This sounds a little bit like nights when I make the mistake of having some caffeine a little too close to bedtime. I don't suffer from any sleep problems myself, but I did learn when my son was young and had night terrors, that even a little chocolate too close to bedtime caused serious sleep disturbances. (Literally, THE night I withdrew his evening chocolate pudding, the night terrors stopped, and never returned!) It seems as if that would be innocuous enough, but it really wreaked havoc with him! And then there is that problem of anxiety that, even if whatever the problem was seems to have been resolved before bedtime, the after-effects can still come back to haunt you after you've gone to sleep. These things are worth checking into.
