I had basically the exact same symptoms as you. The Gerd or burning sensation can be caused by Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I was actually being treated for acid reflux through my family doctor before I talked to my sleep doctor. The sleep doctor said the negative pressure in your chest causes the bottom of your esophogus to be pulled down into you stomach acid. Go see a sleep specialist.
