I'm a back and side sleeper. I apparently have no trouble allowing the mask to hang off the edge of my pillow most of the time. When I do sleep with my mask hanging over the edge of the pillow, the leaks are extremely minimal---exactly as if I were sleeping on my back. When I side-sleep with the mask directly on the pillow, however, the mask leaks are heightened, but still well within limits for my AutoPAP. There are special pillows elsewhere on the Internet designed for side-sleeping nPAP users, BTW.
One other side note. A very kind soul here published either the Resmed part number or Resmed hyperlink for a forehead pad that attaches to the
Mirage Series 2. As good as my mask fit before adding that stabilization pad, it now fits even better. I'm not sure, but I *think* that stabilization forehead pad now days just might be included as a standard part versus optional.
