Oh, I'm fine. I've just given up on Quack Central, thats all.

I've never liked the place. When I was faced with the decision between RadioFrequency Ablation and Submucous Resection of the Turbinates, the ENT said 'a procedure' and I half expected him to try to burb me because he treated me like a two year old! Can you imagine going to a medical librarian and asking for risk information on " a procedure versus a procedure"?

For the latest option they were offering they were planning on having me sign the consent forms but not letting me know before then that it was a UPPP that was being contemplated. This forum has a separate board for surgical options, so I won't go into the details here, but my research indicates that a UPPP is over-rated despite some people benefiting from it. Most 'improvements' are short term anyway. I guess I just like more information than hearing " a procedure ".

I've had some neurendocrine problems that can be exacerbated by the hypoxia/sleep problems and perhaps caused by them, but testing at Quack Central is difficult to get even if its a simple, routine lab test.

So I'm fed up with Quack Central and will no longer seek any medical care whatsoever. Truth be told, I'll probably be better off anyway!
