The weeks of getting used to all the stuff comes when you bring it home. Truth is that you may not sleep well on your titration study, thus some people stay up late the night before, so they can be sure they will sleep. A sleep aid may also help. I actually slept better on the titration study; possibly because of CPAP! Also, I knew what to expect, was fimiliar with the surroundings, made sure I had a fan for white noise (they supplied them), had more comfortable things to sleep in, etc.

I have trouble keeping the nasalaire on, and that would defeat the purpose of the titration. But you could try each on, and lay down, turn over, etc. with them on and see if it would work for you. I also found the NA noisy.

Everyone seems to find heated humidifier necessary at some point. However, I don't know if they will set you up with it in the test. But asking can't hurt!

Let us know how it goes for you.
