I MADE THE SWITCH!!!!

Posted by Rick Sleepbeder on March 18, 2003 at 19:11:36:

Thought I'd share this with you all; I have been on CPAP since beginning of January. It has been up and down but all in all I feel better and I think I am getting better sleep. I have been using the PROFILE LITE the whole time. I have been experiencing extreme frustrations as I combat the leaks that never go away no matter how snug or loose I would make the mask. Leaks especially when my cheek made contact with the pillow in any way.

Now I am on the MIRAGE mask. I have slept with it for about 4 nights now and I honestly can say that there is no comparison to the PROFILE LITE insofar as comfort, leaks and overall performance. I am very pleased. Origninally, when i went back to the sleep lab for another mask, my mind was set on the NASAL AIR (due to all the positive feedback from this forum), however, I tried the MIRAGE at the sleep lab and liked it and they talked me into taking the MIRAGE for some reason. Anyhow, I know we are all different when it comes to choices in masks but I must say I am very pleased with the new MIRAGE mask I am using now.
