Thank you for your words of encouragement. My daughter's case is especially severe because she is under court supervision due to truancy. She is so tired that ordinary activities are exhausting. She falls asleep in class when does she goes to school and is humiliated by her teachers and the other students. She's in danger being sent to juvenile detention any day. I feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. Thanks for being so understanding.

The sleep apnea boards say that juveniles are treated with a T & A (tonsils and adenoids removed) and that it is 75 to 100% curative in those under 21 years old. Both her tonsils and adenoids are enlarged. She snores like an old man - has since the day she was born. Why won't the doctors just try that approach? Tonsilectomies used to routine. What's the downside?
