Hey, it's a free country. You can use whatever you like. Distilled water, tap water, Coke, Pepsi, Coors Light, whatever.

I have used 'their' powder with New York City tap water. I have also irrigated with Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt and NYC tap water. It is significantly less expensive than 'their' powder.

Beleive it or not, not all salt is just salt. Diamond Crystal Iodized Salt has 4 more ingredients than their Kosher Salt. Iodized Salt also has, and I quote "Silicon Dioxide, Tricalcium Phosphate, Dextrose, and Potassium Iodide"

I used tap water & Diamond Crystal Iodized Salt once. Only once. It didn't feel very good.

What should you use? I really don't know. One cool thing about the Grossan powder is that it contains an artificial sugar in it that is supposed to act like carbon monoxide does your blood's hemoglobin. The bacteria gobble up the fake sugar, and when they try to use it for energy, they die. I think that's pretty clever.

Good luck. Let us know if you think it helps your nasal passages and your CPAP use.
