Sorry if I was a bit of a smart-aleck.

I use the Grossan brand machine. I think they recommend running a batch of salt-free water through it right after cleaning your nasal passages.

Anyway, that's what I do. 1 batch of salt water to clean me, then 1 batch of fresh water to clean the machine.
