I'm supposed to be at school!

Hello, I'm twenty and I don't get to sleep until 6-7a.m. every night. This is severly effecting my life as I do not wake up until 4p.m. and I am a college student. I bought sleeping pills from walgreens to help get me asleep, and they help, but I fear taking them every night. Now I know that this problem usually affects people who work late shifts, and this is where my situation differs. I should be waking up at 9a.m every day to get to class! I've had to schedule classes at night, adjusting with my sleep pattern. The test revealed that I show symptoms of sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and gastroesophageal reflux. I think it's likely that sleep apnea is the main problem.

The problem is the fact that I wake up late, and I don't feel tired until way late, there is a cycle that I must break. How do I break this viscious cycle?

I'd be so so grateful for some techniques or "rituals" to assist in helping one get to sleep when they should.

Best,
Mike
