You will need a sleep study, which can determine the cause of the problem. If your dianosed with Obstructive Sleep Apena you will most likley be given a perscription for a CPAP machine (air splint) which is used to hold your air way open. No amount of sleeping pills will cure this, its a matter of having arousals while being asleep which do not wake you but does deprive you of sleep, cause your blood oxygen levels too drop and on and on.
