They never give me a copy, fog. I guess I have a right to one, right? My bi-pap is 9 over 5. I slept pretty much during the sleep study as I do at home. Woke up several times feeling like my air had been cut off or I couldn't exhale against the pressure. The same as at home.
When asked the tech told me I wasn't having apnea, didn't know why I woke. Just said my breathing "changed" (I remember a nightmare) At home I wake up so confused I don't know if it's a nightmare (can't be every time) or claustrophobia as one person here suggests or what? I just know that so far I get an "easier" nights sleep without the mask.
I really don't see it as an enemy, but it is an annoyance. Sometimes I fall asleep with it no problem. Sometimes I can't. It's the waking up after two hours that I can't stand.
Also tech raised my pressure to 10 during sleep test and found this difficult to tolerate. Does this help?
