I had exactly the same problem. On CPAP 8 months at a pressure of 6. Things were fine but not great. Was able to borrow an autopap for 3 nights and found a pressure increase to 11 was called for. All of a sudden I have problems. After 3 or 4 hours I am bloated to the point of pain and mask leaks around my eyes causing them to get sore. I decided to switch to an autopap and all the problems went away. I am using a Resmed AutoSpirit with an integrated heated humidifier. It is working fine now. Had to buy the new machine out of pocket of course but got trade-in value for my 8-month old S7 CPAP.
