In addition to the other comments, I would just add that there is no need to fill the reservoir to the top. I put about three-fourths of an inch of water in at bedtime and still have a bit left in the morning. A gallon of distilled H2O lasts me about two weeks or a bit more. Most mornings, I empty out what's left and blow the reservoir dry. Did any of our suggestions prove helpful?
