I use a nightguard for Bruxism (teeth grinding). The old one fit fine, but it soon gave out after over nine years of use. The new one was of a different design. The front of the new device pinched my upper lips against the bottom of the mask.

I went to the dentist with the nightguard and the mask. He had never really seen it before, but he knew just when to do. He trimed the front of the nightguard. He knew just how much to trim. He said that if I had not brought in the mask, he would not have understood the problem, nor known how much to trim.
