I'm one of those "rural" folks who recently purchased my Auto CPAP on the internet. I got a Remstar Plus Auto and like it just fine. I also got the nasalaire, and love it.

I did double check with my insurance before I purchased the "auto", and they treat a CPAP as a CPAP - they didn't care whether it was an auto or not.

Also, my prescription was written as a "7". When I purchased the auto, it was set up from "5 to 9", not as a fixed.

Like I said, I tried to cover all the bases before I purchased my equipment, paid out of pocket, and then got reimbursed by my insurance company.

I'm not having any problems with my equipment - like I said, I love the nasalaire - it is so comfortable, and I have had not sores at all. My husband loves it that I no longer snore. lol.

Wish everyone had it so easy.
