It's probably not adjusted correctly. It may be too tight or too loose. In general, nebies tend to make it way too tight. Also, the relative tightness of the top and bottom sttrap need to be correct.

Furthermore, check the mask carefully for additional pivot points. Many newbies miss some of the adjustments that can be made.
