What can I do?

Posted by aclack on May 30, 2003 at 05:58:31:

My husband just finished his first round of testing for Apnea and they are going to fit him for a machine next. What can we do to make sure he gets what he needs? I have read a lot about the problems with CPAP but we cant afford a BiPAP if the insurance will not pay. Is there anything that we can do to ensure he gets what he needs? Also as someone that does not have apnea what do I need to understand about what he goes through? How can I help him? Thanks!
