There may be a distortion inherent in this forum. Those who feel better and have fewer complaints may feel less inclined to participate.

What I can tell you is that I did experience an almost miraculous return to the land of the living. While I was probably not near the point of physical death, I was just about to join the living dead. On the first morning after, I felt very lightheaded, though not quite as exhausted as usual. On the second day, I actually felt alert; I had no memory of ever feeling so alert before. This continued for several weeks.

After a while it tapered off, but certainly nowhere near the point it was in the B.C. (before CPAP) era. The doctor put me on Provilgil® at that point. He said that many SA patients need it to feel fully alert, even with full CPAP compliance.
