I don't think it's fair to use this forum to gauge the overall rate of satisfaction with CPAP. Many new users post here to discuss problems they have encountered or to seek solutions from others who've been on CPAP for a longer period of time. I will say that CPAP has turned my life around. My wife and family are as thrilled as I am. I wake up refreshed and don't fall asleep on the couch in the evening the way I used to. My wife says when she wakes during the night, she's amazed to see how peacefully I'm sleeping. CPAP is not a cure-all, and OSA is sometimes just one of several problems that people are working their way through. Does it work for me? You'd have to pry my machine from my cold, dead hands, as the NRA would say. Here's hoping it works as well for you.
