I agree with DH on all points. I would only add that sometimes a BiPAP can help if you have difficulty with frequent leaks at the nasal interface. Leaks can be difficult to stop and can be reduced by finding the right mask or interface (ie Breeze or Nasalaire). But if leaks are a problem, and you are up all night because of the squeeks and whistles and adjustments a BiPAP machine may help. But he will need another pressure titration sleep study with a BiPAP machine, to establish the correct inhalation and exhalation pressures, before being prescribed BiPAP therapy.
Maybe a CPAP with "C-Flex" is an option here? There are lots of options and alot of it is trial and error because everyone is different. It's hard to get it right the first time but it does happen!
