You said that CPAP would help, and that you‘re getting a heated humidifier. The implication (of using the word “would,” which is conditional) is that you don’t actually have a CPAP. While it’s not my place to correct anybody’s English, please accept my apologies as there is a serious question of clarity involved here.

A heated humidifier of the variety we talk about on this forum cannot be used without a CPAP. Hopefully, this is only a language problem, and you do have a CPAP.

Sometimes, CPAP can cause central apneas, even if it’s helpful with obstructive ones. You may do better on Auto-PAP or Bi-PAP. You cannot get an Auto/Bi-PAP (combined) at this time, as far as I know.
