Sorry - I was quoting the report when I stated that "CPAP would provide moderate relief".

I have received a CPAP and am trying to use the NasalAire after being unable to use the Mirage mask originally provided. Problem is that my chronically stuffy nose makes me feel like I am being smothered when the air starts to flow. That's why I am getting the humidifier today and seeing the ENT tomorrow.

As for CPAP causing centrals, any theories as to why? Is it a neurological reaction to the air being pumped?

Just curious as to what others have learned. These forums have been very helpful for me.

Thanks!
