Also, with respect to hypoglycemia do more than cut out sugar. Pasta, bread and other carbs have the same affect as sugar. Limit these items at lunch and make sure you eat plenty of protein as it helps stabilize blood sugar levels. Also, when you start having these low periods grab a quick snack such as nuts or cheese. If this is the cause, you should get some relief. If not, keep hunting.
