You do not say how long you were on CPAP, and why it did not work.

CPAP is not a lot of fun when you first start, and it takes trial and error to get everything just right. Suggest you try it again with heated humidification. Use it for at least 90 days. Sometimes things do not work because we do not stay the course.

I had the option of UPPP. and the doctor said it was not major surgery. He addded," you will have to spend the night in intensive care - just a precaution in case your airways swell shut." After that remark and reviewing what is defined as surgical "success", I went CPAP three years ago and have not regretted it.
