Concerning your statement about significant variation from night to night:

Very few people get back to back sleep studies. They are only done in research settings but the few that have been done have indeed shown that the scoring is variable as is the resultant cpap pressure to be Rx'd.

Also remember: A sleep center and your home are two different environments. Something might affect you at home that is not present in the sleep center.
