My spirit was delivering about 5.8 and I had another overnight test, which showed that under pressures of 10 I had severre poriodic limb movement (kicking vigorously)which was poreventing me from getting decent sleep. My sleep doc bumped my minimum from 5 to 10. After about six months at a minimum of 10 I am recovering and getting the sleep I was expecting with the wide window you describved you are on. My sleep doc no longer relies on trhe auto machines to deliver the required minimum, he said the biggest problem with them is that they undertreat. I had nine months of data showing I was adequately treated at the minimum of 5, but the reality in an overnight test was very different. If I was you, I would go for another overnight test in a good sleep center and if you are feeling tired and showing a lot of apneas hypopneas, keep at it til you have the accurate data from an overnight study, my experience was that I could not rely on the treatment my auto machine delivered. It actually created a secondary sleep disorder for me, which was nowhere evident in my initial sleep tests. for a variety of reasons, inadequate treatment can complicate your picture.I don't know ifd you have the book that goes with the software, but if you do, read it carefully from cover to cover and you may find something that could relate to your situation.
