Thanks for your suggestions. I did get a copy of the sleep
study and it raised more questions than it answered. The
sleep specialist that I went to suggested that I was having
panic attacks and recommended that I see a psychologist. I
think she is mistaken in her diagnosis; I may not have
apnea, but I do have some sort of sleep disorder. I thought
she would be more helpful, but when she decided I didn't
have sleep apnea she wrote me off as a nut case. I haven't
decided what the next step will be, but since I'm having eye
surgery for glaucoma next week I have some other things
to occupy me. Thanks again all who responded.
