I think an AutoCPAP is a great thing, I have an AutoAdjustLT. I strongly suggest getting the software for any AutoCPAP - I have found that as useful as the "auto" function. When I think I am not sleeping well I can often tell from the software results whether it is apnea or just old fashioned stress. Also it give a good objective benchmark as to what masks work well for you and whether your prescriptions still seems right, or should perhaps be revisited with your physician.

There is a wealth of information in the archives on AutoCPAPs. I would particularly encourage you to review the comments from Perry, who is quite a knowledgeable person on this subject.

Please note his discussion of the different triggers for different machines that you can find in the archives. An important point is that not all AutoCPAPs work equally well for all persons.

Good luck!
