I agree.
The problem with autocPAP's is they may not respond fast enough or appropriately to pressure requirements in the patient.
In my case the minimum pressure was set to 4 (default value in the machine) and although that woorked fine initially, after 5 months the apneas and hypoapneas stared coming back.
I then changed the minimum setting to 12\13\14(still experimenting) and got much better results.
This made me realise that the machine had not been responding to my requirements correctly.
Of course this has been my personal experience but in general fixing the window(min and max pressure) is very critical.
