When I first started I had the breathing problem you described. I realized as a reflex to the blowing air that I was not inhaling normally and breathing in a very shallow manner. When you feel you cannot exhale, practice inhaling deeply. If you inhale deeply the exhale is completely natural and without force. I was at a pressure of 15 when starting. Be patient and practice, you have to want to adjust - it is worth it.

Go the the CPAP Store in the SleepMall at the top of the screen and purchase an insulating sleeve for you hose, and your mask if possible. The nominal investment will allow you to turn up your humidifier and not worry about the condensate (also known as rainout).
