NasalAire2 fitting

Posted by Marco Polo on September 04, 2003 at 17:04:06:

Went to the Sleep Doc today and had the CRT fit me for a NasalAire2. I was told by the Doc to hold off a month or two for the N2 release--but more on that later. I must say that the material feels better than the N1. The lip around the top of nasal insert is more rounded (top to bottom) than the N1 which will probably make it fit more easily inside the nostril. The size that I tried was the new Medium Plus. I must admit, compared to the Medium, this should have been called "Large Minus". The CRT double-checked the size. So for those waiting for the Medium Plus to be a bit larger than the Medium--its a lot larger than the Medium. I had to settle on the Medium.

Just thought you'd like to know. Also, from the lips of my CRT, the N2's are being produced as fast as they can and being given to the sleep labs first. It may be several months before it hits the market for consumer purchase. If anyone has info otherwise, please update and/or share.
