Yours is a complex problem that has a simple answer.
A Positive mental attitude is one of the things that some do not have and are doomed to failure. Another is for you to modify your behavour to overcome your fear of the mask.
This may include getting a mask and conditioning yourself to it before you have the sleep study.
You could slip it on until you have no anxiety.
MANY have had your problem. Many have overcome it. You can too.
You have 2 main choices. Adapt to the mask orlive with untreated OSA. Calm down- Take deep breaths and just do it.
