I forgot to add that although I had been congested for years, on meds and sprays, I had no idea that my septum was deviated, or my R turbinate enlarged or that I had polyps until August! And I had seen ENTs before, but nothing was mentioned. I have never broken my nose, but have always had sinus problems, since childhood.

That is why none of the above was fixed sooner. But I wonder if it would have made adjusting to xPap easier and lessened the sleep studies (5 in 9 months) to get the titration and machine working, and also the trouble with masks, I went through 5 of those at home, after going through about 5 others during my 2nd sleep study.

Ah well, hindsight. Now, hopefully, things will start perking up and I will respond better to the xPap therapy.
