I have been using the Simplicity for the last three months. It took me a while to get it right, but it was also my first mask. I like it because it is very small and I can lay on my side with it.
People always say not to overtighten the straps on this one, but I found that you have to get the straps pretty snug for it to stay in place, but too tight and it can be painful.
What I don't like about it is that (with the hose over the head) it exhausts straight down and I don't like the breeze on my body. Alternatively it blows up over the eyes and I hate that. I've adjusted by always having the sheet up over my body (and sometimes lower part of my face). Also, when I lay on my side, I pull the hose down towards the pillow and then angle the exhaust away from my body which usually takes care of the problem.
I get some rainout in the mask if I put my humidifier over 2. And sometimes the exhaust port will whistle if water collects. I usually like it higher, so I've learned to just wipe out the mask and dab the port with my sheet in my sleep if necessary. Amazing what you learn to do...
The headgear is a bit on the large side if you are a small person, and you have to pull it down low to keep the top strap in place.
I happen to have broken my nose in the past and have a bump on my nose. Unfortunately the Simplicity rests on the bump, which can be sensitive. I use a small round band aid to cushion where the mask rests. I've just requested the Breeze nasal pillows as an alternative so that I'm not always pressuring that area.
If you decide to get the Simplicity and have any problems, be sure to post. I must have work them all out! :)
