The first thing to try - if you haven't already - is a heated humidifer. Don't waste your time with a non-heated one. The humidifier will make CPAP much more liveable.

Also, if that doesn't do the job, you may want to consider the septum surgery. It will probably not cure your Apnea, but it may make it possible for you to use CPAP.
