Unfortunately medicare in Australia doesn't cover cpap machines at all. There is a whole range of machines with different prices according to what your needs and budget are and there is a group called AWAKE (I think it is) that have a publication that you can pick up in sleep clinics that lists all the outlets selling machines here. Also, in Australia it is legal to buy a second hand machine and that publication lists these.
