Humidifer on floor?

Posted by KM on October 14, 2003 at 20:41:50:

Earlier someone suggested that the humidifer be placed on the floor as a way of addressing the water-in-the-nose phenomenon.

But it just occured to me -- the hose that connects by bi pap machine to the humidifer is only about a foot long. If I use a longer hose -- and the only other one I have is about three feet long -- will that have any impact on my receiving the proper pressure level?

I ask that cos I know that some machines have to be adjusted if yoiu change hose lengths.
