You really have to remember that using CPAP is truly a "do or die" situation. If you really want to live, you will learn to sleep differently. That is, sleep on your side, sleep with your mouth shut, sleep with your mask on -- and if you do the first two things, then maybe you can use a different mask that doesn't bother you so much. Do a search on this site for others who have had your problems and you will find that many, many have learned to live with CPAP. Unfortunately, those who don't learn to live with it sometimes get the alternative and that is not a good thing to do.
