You can acquire an uniterruptable power supply (UPS)from any good computer store in your area or even by doing a Google search on the web. A good one will cast you less than a $100 and will provide enough power to keep just your CPAP running for the duration of MOST outtages. Larger UPS devices can keep 2 monitors and 2 PC's running for over an hour. The current draw of a single CPAP should allow many minutes on a smaller UPS, if that is all you have plugged into the UPS. Fans, lights, and heaters will of course reduce that amount of time.
