While I never thought I could adjust to the bi-pap, I must say that now I can't imagine not sleeping with it. I still hate the ideal that I need it though. Sometimes I might lay down in the afternoon without it, and the few minutes of sleep I might get is so terrible, I wish I hadn't even bothered. I really can't offer any suggestions, other than to keep trying. Has your doctor prescribed any type of medication to help you relax and rest? I have RLS and sometimes take Klonopin for it, which also has a sedative/relaxation effect. It is very addictive though, so be careful with it. Good luck!
