To ansewer your question,I have not thought about using an auto cpap.I was told that the cpap set at 6.0 did the job fine.I was confused by what the doctor told me about my lack of stage 3/4 sleep. He told me the hypopnea problem was cured, and that should have allowed me to get stage 3/4 sleep if that was the main problem.I felt as though I did not sleep well at all the night of the second study, and perhaps that was why there was a problem getting to stage 3/4.He told me I slept 5 out of the seven hours, but it seemd I was awake most of the night, and I think that they may have mistaken me laying there quietly as being asleep, although he said the brain waves don't lie.
