A descendent in the cooker? I am not a doctor. All I can provide is my opinion and you must evaluate it for yourself. At the bottom are citations to the items I have written about OSA and its relationship to various illnesses. In my opinion there other ailments caused by OSA. The one on 'measles and IBD' was not peer reviewed, therefore your evaluation is mandatory.
The ‘Palmer’ citation (I posted the citation earlier in this same forum) below is a description of how bottle feeding sets you up for OSA. You have my permission to tell mom what happened, but please do not give her a guilt trip. Please note that it is breast-feeding compared to bottle-feeding, not breast milk compared to infant formula or cow’s milk.
In my opinion, there is at least one problem due to Grandma bottle feeding mom, and the result is not great for the grandchild. The problem is a birth defect. I am still working on it and plan to submit it.
You are aware of the problems with OSA. I would not want to wish OSA or any other ailment on a baby. For this reason I implore you to read Palmer’s work and evaluate it. I hope you may be able to read between the lines and make carefully considered decisions.
You know my opinion, but I am not a doctor, therefore you must think for yourself!!!!
Best of everything to and to your descendents
