Can someone please help me?

Hello my name is Jamie, I am a 24 yr. old female and even though I have not been professionally diagnosed with sleep apnea, I know that I have it. First of all, my roommate has narcolepsy and he knows alot more than the average person about sleep disorders and after observing me sleeping now for over a year he is persistant about me having sleep apnea. I have also taking several sleep test online and they have all told me that I have sleep apnea. Last but not least, it seems like here lately I have been waking up alot more gasping for air. As a matter of fact, last night I had been in the bed for about an hour and a half and I woke up gasping for air, so bad that it caused me to choke profoundly and it really scared me. I have several other things that give me the idea that I have sleep apnea and it really affects my life. I am always tired even after a full 8 or 9 hours of sleep; and I get irratible because of this.

My question to you is, I just lost my job and I have no insurance, but I feel as though it is critical that I get a sleep study and get some treatment for my disorder, does anyone know of anywhere near Charlotte, NC that will work with me to get this done. I am scared my disorder is going to turn into a fatality! Please, any info would be helpful. Thank you so much, Jamie
