As a lifelong mouth breather, I was astounded to find breathing through my nose is no problem so long as I use the heated humidifier. AND, it's much more comfortable.

I keep a full face mask as backup in case my allergies go out of control and don't respond to medication, but I find it much harder to control leaks in the FF mask.

Give it a try. If you still cannot breathe through your nose, you might want to see an ENT and find out whether you have a deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, polyps or some other physical problem that prevents comfortable nose breathing. I find that just a little swelling, unnoticeable during the daytime, creates just enough discomfort at night that I cannot sleep.
