Type of water in humidifier?

Posted by Meiri on January 08, 2004 at 11:07:37:

Does anyone have any data/info on if it's safe enough for me to just use filtered water (from Pur water filter on our faucet) rather than creating more waste by buying distilled water to keep it filled?

If the filtered is safe enough I'd like to continue using it. If not....

I can't say I've noticed a difference in the week or so I've been using it so far, but it's hard to tell the true source of nasal congestion for me. Could be a bit of a cold, could be allergy related.

Thanks
