Ask your doctor about adding Nasocort, Nasonex, Flonase, something of that nature, in addition to the Nasalcrom, not instead of. Nasalcrom works in a different way and can be used in conjunction with.

Whatever happened triggered your allergies big time and it will take awhile to settle down -- not what you wanted to hear, I know. Use the heated humidifier, turn it up high; it should be soothing to your irritated nasal passages. Irrigate with the saline spray as well.

AND conventional wisdom says to check the pressure when you've lost 25 pounds or more, but I don't think it's the pressure causing the reaction.

Your system is really stressed right now, so anything you can do to ease the load will be helpful.
